How We Got Here!
Founded in September 2013 by a group of friends on Meetup that gathered weekly, Perth Yoga for Everybody emerged by its teachers being approachable, kind and relatable to people learning about yoga for the first time.
The collective was (and remains) committed to the enjoyment of sharing yoga and meeting up. As the group grew with the boom of yoga and event technology, we deployed easy online booking processes and policies to deliver consistent outdoor, group and private yoga classes all year round. We are now in a position to support anyone in our community that experiences financial hardship, by allowing you to pay a donation amount of your choice, at any of our events.
We got here because of your participation each week and have delivered over 1900 events in the parks, hills and office canteens and halls around Perth because of it, reaching as much of the wider community as possible with Yoga classes and a team of 5 teachers that give our project its value.
"To improve the vitality and mobility of people in Australia, by delivering affordable and accessible,Yoga events and services."
1. Consistency in Service and certainty of classes during all seasons (confidence and assurance).
2. Celebrating Diversity, individuality, being yourself (self-love), allowing all opinions to be heard.
3. Cost Champions, giving the value in our transactions back to the community.
4. Competence and Compliance with global. local and national privacy, child protection and consumer laws.
5. Community Love and Respect for others, promoting inclusion, support and kindness to others.
6. Collaboration and Creativity to solve community resource issues and cooperate and add value for all.
7. Convenience and Ease of Access to all.
These are the common values that we embody as a collective of teachers and organisers delivering yoga experiences to you, and when we conduct ourselves in the WA community. These values are at the source of our collective intentions, when acting to assist you to develop your health and wellness.
